Nixe Shawl Kit in Pascuali Balayage
Melanie Berg, also known as Mairlynd, has introduced the Nixe shawl created especially for Pascuali Balayage yarns. From Melanie: Nixe is the German word for mermaid, and it seemed the perfect name for a shawl where the simple, repetitive stitch pattern evokes the sun-dappled scales of mermaids playing just below the surface of the sea. I also love the way it showcases two new Pascuali Balayage colorways,a soft off-white and a hand-dyed turquoise flecked with jewel tones.
Kit includes three balls Balayage plus two hanks of Balayage Hand Dyed in the special edition colors shown here, plus a copy of the Nixe Shawl pattern from Melanie Berg. You will also need a US size 4 circular needle in a length 24" or longer, or size needed for gauge. Project is suitable for advanced beginners that are comfortable with increases and decreases.
This is a limited edition color kit! Once these are sold out, they are gone and won't be restocked. You can also create your own color design for this project using 3 balls Balayage and 2 hanks Balayage Hand Dyed.
