A special Montana/Canada project, inspired by the International Peace Park Shawl by Christina Campbell. Kit includes Montana Grown Targhee in a heavy sock weight, hand dyed by YarnScout with red and black speckles, plus Canadian Koigu KPPPM in a rich, red & pink variegated colorway. Slight modifications were made to the original pattern to accomodate the difference in yardage; notes are included in the Kit.
Please allow a few days for this kit to ship, as the Targhee yarn is hand dyed in small batches. Thank you.
A simple to knit asymetrical shawl inspired by Waterton-Glacier National Parks in Alberta, Canada and Montana, United States. This shawl was created to be accesible to all levels of knitters and inspired by the “International Peace Park,” a union of both National Parks that occurred in 1932 as a symbol of peace. The United Nations recognizes the International Peace Park as a World Heritage Site.
Kit does not include the original pattern; please purchase it directly from Ravelry. Requires a US size 5, 32" circular needle, or size for gauge, not included.
