Egbertine Cowl or Beanie Kits, knit with Juniper Moon Herriot
Kits include yarn and pattern for knitting the Double Loop Cowl (shown on model), Single Loop Cowl, or Striped Beanie. Two colorways offered; choose from Naturals or Heathered Colors.
This simple striped cowl and matching beanie are perfect for knitters just beginning to experiment with color and knitting in the round. Knit with 10 natural colors of Juniper Moon Herriot, 100% Baby Alpaca, this cowl is knit in the round to create a double thick tube, then joined with Kitchener stitch to create a seamless join. Additional notes are provided on how to knit a jogless stripe when changing colors.
The cowl shown on the model is the double loop option, measuring 10 inches wide by 53 inches in circumference. Also choose from a single loop cowl, measuring 10 inches wide by 31 inches in circumference. The striped beanie is available in a separate kit, and may be knit in your choice of two different sizes, Adult Medium (19 inch circumference) and Adult Large (22 ¾ inch circumference).
