This simple half-circle garter stitch shawl was created as part of our Expedition YarnScout series to take advantage of the beautiful colors of Koigu! Four coordinating colors of KPPPM were selected based on their ability to transition from one color to another. The applied garter stitch border provides another opportunity to fade colors again. This shawl is knit at a loose gauge and relaxes even more after blocking, providing a wonderful drape. Finished size of shawl is 62" wingspan with 15" depth.
Kit includes 4 skeins of KPPPM and a copy of the Color Merger Shawl pattern by Sharyn Anhalt. Pattern also calls for a US size 6, 32" length, circular needle and stitch markers (not included).
Kits for the model shown are sold out; the Bluesy Purple kit is close in colors to the model.
