How do I join YarnScout Rewards?

Once you have created a webstore account online, you are automatically enrolled. If you don't have one, create a store account to join today. Shoppers in our retail store that provide an email address at checkout will receive an email inviting them to set up a Rewards account.

How do I earn points?

Every dollar spent (excluding the purchase of gift cards) earns one point. If points are awarded for gift card purchases, an adjustment will be posted to your point balance. You can gather extra reward points by writing product reviews, following us on Facebook and Instagram, or on your birthday! See the "Earn" tab when you Check Rewards for all the current ways to earn points. 

How do I check my balance and redeem Rewards?

Log in to your webstore account and click on the Check Rewards button in the lower right hand corner.

How do I use my rewards?

YarnScout Reward points can be redeemed for coupons good for purchases on our website or in the retail store. Click on the Check Rewards button for current coupons. When redeeming a coupon with a webstore order, you must enter the coupon code in the box at checkout for codes and gift cards, then update the cart to be sure that the coupon has been deducted. Sorry, we are unable to use Reward Coupons with phone orders. Limit one code per purchase, and we cannot combine orders that use a coupon code. Coupon codes may not be applied to prior purchases. 

Are my online points combined with my in-store points?

Yes! As long as the same email address is used for purchases, your points will be automatically combined.

Cancellation/Return Policy - Online Purchases

We process all orders for shipping as soon as possible; if we haven't yet processed your order, we may be able to cancel it. RETURNS are accepted for regular stock items purchased through our website within 30 days from date of purchase; sorry, books, magazines and patterns are not eligible for return. Returned items must be new (yarn unwound with labels intact), unused, and include all packaging. Sorry, we cannot accept skeins that have been wound and then re-skeined. You must include a copy of your order or a note with your name and order number inside the package for us to properly credit your refund. Refunds will be posted to original payment method. Returns postmarked past 30 from purchase will not be accepted and are not eligible for a refund.

If your purchase qualified for a free shipping promotion, a portion of the actual shipping costs may be deducted from your refund. If your purchase qualified for a free pattern or other item with purchase, the free item must be returned with the yarn. If you choose to keep the pattern or item, the retail value will be deducted from your refund. Rewards coupons are not refundable and may not be recovered if your order is returned or cancelled; if you return an item from an order where a Rewards coupon was used, a prorated amount of your reward discount will be deducted from the refund. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. 

Sorry, we do not accept returns for exchange. Since colors can sell out quickly, please place a new order and then we'll refund you for the returned items (per our policy) once they are received back to us. 

If you find a defect or experience a problem with merchandise purchased from YarnScout, please contact us by email within 7 days of receipt. 

Return Policy - In Store Purchases

All sales are final on discounted and sale merchandise, books, magazines and patterns, and class or workshop fees. RETURNS are accepted for all other merchandise; a refund will be given within 7 days of purchase, store credit within 30 days of purchase. Ordering & Shipping

Products shown on our website are in stock and available to ship, unless otherwise noted. If you can place the quantity desired in the shopping cart and check out, then we have that quantity on hand to ship to you. If there are any discrepancies in our warehouse, including mismatched dye lots, we will contact you by email before shipping your order. If you do not receive an email confirmation of your order immediately after placing it through the website, check your spam folder or promotions folder in gmail.

You may place an order through our website for US addresses only -  all 50 states, territories and military addresses.We strive to ship all orders within 24 hours of placing the order. We will contact you by email if there is any delay.

Shipping charges in the United States are just $7.95 flat rate for orders under $100, and orders $100 and over ship for FREE! Sorry, we do not offer any express shipping methods through the website at this time. Most orders ship by Priority Mail, and should arrive within 2-3 days.

Yes, we do ship internationally! We calculate a custom shipping quote for each address. Rates generally start at $25 US. Please contact us  with your address and the items you wish to order for a shipping quote.

Our Store

YarnScout is located in Bozeman Montana at 722 N Rouse Ave. We carry a large selection of yarns, fiber, spinning and weaving supplies, knitting and crochet notions, buttons, needle felting kits, and much much more! You can reach us by phone/text at 406-577-2088. Our retail hours are limited in order for us to pack & ship the large number of online orders we receive; we are happy to make appointments to visit the retail shop outside the regular hours; please contact us at least two days prior to your desired appointment.
